Hello, I’m Shannon - the heart and soul of The Wild North Shack.
I’m a 4th year micro flower grower in zone 6A- Brant County, Ontario. I grow fresh edible flowers and specialty cut flowers from March until October. I’ve been growing cut flowers for over 7 years, but I consider it to be my 4th year “flower farming” on a micro scale. (I currently grow over 40 varieties of flowers on a little over 3500 square feet.) I love growing dried flowers, and flowers that give off the “Wild Country Garden” vibes. Foxglove, strawflowers, yarrow are some of my favourites to grow. I’m going into my 6th year of beekeeping and I sell my raw, local honey at my roadside stand. If you love nature, wildlife, gardening, and homesteading - you’ll love my page! Thanks for following along ! I’m glad to have you here.

The stand was created and opened in June 2024. You’ll find fresh cut flowers, local honey, fresh eggs, hanging baskets, vegetables, pumpkins, and other Canadian-made homesteading goodies.
The stand is located at 280 Jerseyville Road. Brantford. Between Ranch Road and Misener Road.
